i want...
okay actually slightly NEED my hair to grow faster.
i really really want long hair you know the kind; almost at my elbows length or at my elbows either one will do.
and I was on that path...until about a year and a half ago mine got butchered short, on a whim (oh silly instant gratification and not being patient and researching for a stylist) I decided to get a hair cut. I told the (scissor happy) stylist "I want layers that frame my face but to keep the overall length please..." what the (scissor happy) stylist must have heard was "Hi there, please pretty please cut my hair super short and then make it even shorter by creating layers all over my head and make the shortest layer like 1/2" that would be just perfect!".

The result...

I tried to look happy with this hair length, but look into my eyes, you can see the truth. (This was actually 2/3 months after I got it cut because I finally felt I could wear it down) 

Now I'm all for short hair on girls that WANT short hair, but that wasn't my story....

This is it's current length..(sorry about the photo quality, it was a black light mini golf place and my newest photos show my hair all wavy - my current obsession the reason I want my hair to my elbows, oh lordy I get so excited thinking about wavy elbow length hair!!!! yes please!)

Yes, it is indeed growing! but...it needs to go a bit quicker.

I wish it was a Chia pet or something, but then my hair would be green...and...grass, so I suppose I'll just have to wait it out, again I am all for girls who WANT green hair...or grass hair, but again that's not my story.

Luckily ever since I've been going to my wonderful hair stylist (after the psycho one that hacked my hair off I took time to use Yelp and research one, and not only is she my hair stylist she is becoming a great friend so use Yelp people!) it's been growing and she understands my need for it to grow, grow, grow!

What a shallow post. right?
